Oisin Lunny

Oisin Lunny is a composer, musician & producer. He was a founding member of the group Marxman (Talkin’ Loud) and later released “When It Hits You Feel No Pain" as Firstborn. 

His collaborations have included: Bono & Adam Clayton, Gangstarr, U2, Depeche Mode, Sinead O'Connor and Ted Barnes. 

Music syncs have included Human Traffic and Mean Machine, and original scores have included 50 Shades of Gay (Channel 4), Storyville: My Mother The Secret Baby (BBC), Men of Arlington (RTÉ One/BBC) and also the channel idents for RTÉ One.

Seeca renews deal with Lunny

British publisher Seeca has renewed their longstanding agency and publishing deal with Irish composer/producer Oisin Lunny.

Seeca was founded in 2004. We are a Label, Publisher & Artist Management Company with an extensive catalogue of songs from our artists & writers including Firstborn, The Lights, Soundtracks for a B-Movie, Duvestar, Frankie & The Heartstrings and The Common Redstarts. 

Our music has been featured in TV shows Gossip Girl, Damages, Degrassi, Hart of Dixie, America’s Funniest Videos, Dirt, BBC EastEnders, and MTV’s Keeping up with the Kardashians plus many more. 

Feature films include Derailed, No Reservations, The Waiting Room, Heroes & Villains, Sparkle, I Want Candy. We have provided music for TV adverts such as PlayStation, Nissan, House of Fraser, Escada, Sky Broadband, Northern Bank, and Kings of Shaves. We manage Cecilia Blair a young British Actor known for "The Devil's Hour" the forthcoming TV series produced by Hartswood Films for Amazon playing the role of Young Lucy. Cecilia is represented by Sylvia Young Agency and is training at The Arnould School of Dance and Drama.

The formidably father and son team Oisin Lunny and his father Dónal, a legend on the Irish Music scene have composed the Channel Idents for the rebrand of Ireland’s National TV Station RTÉ One.  The duo have also collaborated on the RTÉ Christmas idents.

No Reservations

Taking ‘No Reservations’ our most exciting project with Warner Bros, starring Catherine Zeta Jones & Little Miss Sunshine’s Abigail Breslin, the swinging beats of Ray Gelato’s ‘Mambo Gelato’ not only made a scene in the romantic comedy it was also used for  the end credits.


The Weinstein Company picked Oisin Lunny’s “It’s Like the Wind” for use in the trailer for the Jennifer Anniston/Clive Owen film ‘Derailed’.
